Cape Point Vineyards, a prestigious wine company situated in Noordhoek and known for their internationally acclaimed wines, has a position available for a CEO with proven skills to take charge of the cellar operations and produce wines of outstanding quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *the entire winemaking/farming process and bottling *inventory control of wine and dry goods *marketing of wines *ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards *health & safety requirements *personnel management *overseeing and managing the financial performance of the business (restaurant, cashflow, planning, reporting to the owners etc.) *liaison with clients and suppliers *all other functions related to the position of CEO whilst being responsible for the Winemaking process. Essential minimum qualifications, skills and experience: • BSc Agric Viticulture and Oenology, Elsenburg Qualification in Cellar Technology or similar, with the main interest in Oenology; • At least 6-8 years' winemaking experience, including in a management capacity; • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office).
