Our client, a leading payments service provider in Stellenbosch, is looking for an onsite Financial Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the incumbent will manage the accounting functions and systems across different business entities, ensuring the accuracy of all accounting systems (with particular focus on internal control systems, sound fiscal and financial policies and procedures, and the required and prescribed compliance requirements). The ideal candidate has excellent financial, commercial, and strategic acumen paired with the ability to motivate a team whilst creating a sense of accountability. Strong attention to detail and verbal & written communication skills are further requirements of the role. Key performance areas will include: *Financial management across various entities *Management of full accounting function *Commercial management *Internal controls and risk management *Personnel management. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Relevant financial post-graduate qualification; • Completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA); • Active membership with a relevant governing body; • 3 years' post article experience in a managerial capacity; • Knowledge of financial systems (SAGE and Business Central accounting package experience beneficial); • Previous financial/payments industry experience advantageous; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
