Our client, a well-established wine company with four sites, is looking for a Chief Executive Officer with strong commercial and strategic acumen as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive strategic partnerships and lead the organization. The successful candidate will report directly to the Board and will be responsible for the general management, productivity and profitability of the entire business. KPA's will include: *development of business strategy & long-term operational plan and budget in collaboration with the Board *overall financial management *increase long-term shareholder value by developing & implementing strategic projects *ensuring regulatory compliance *representing the brand at national & international level *overall management of sales & marketing strategy (have market knowledge & insight into trends) *establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholders *HR management and development *business development, including the expansion of existing markets and the establishment of new markets *infrastructure and capacity planning. Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience: • Tertiary degree (Honours/Masters in Business administration/Financial Management/Viticulture & Oenology); • 8-10 years’ experience in management of a business entity; • Good understanding of the wine industry in the bulk and bottle wine trade.
