This role will drive the financial discipline enabling efficient and competitive business units (production and packing and marketing) through financial best practice, timely and relevant reporting and benchmarking, financial controls, accounting systems and analysis. Key performance areas will include: *facilitation of budgeting & forecasting processes (OPEX and CAPEX) *operational financial reporting *cost and procurement management *financial controls - process controls, systems, business processes, variance analyses *profitability analysis and benchmarking *efficient accounting systems aligned to and supporting overall Business Intelligence – streamlining master data, data quality control, detail interpretation and analyses *people & team management *risk management. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Registered CA (SA)/PA(SA) or CGMA (CIMA); • 6 - 10 years’ post article experience; • Excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English); • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Apps); • Experience in the agricultural sector will be to the candidate's advantage.
