Our client, the South African (Stellenbosch) subsidiary of an International Agricultural Group, has the above position for a Financial Manager in their wine division. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen and can guide the business from a commercial perspective. The successful candidate will report to the Group CFO (based in France) and be responsible for accurate, timely and reliable financial control within the business and reporting of results and performance to the Group. Areas of accountability will include, but not be limited to: *Financial oversight and control of SA subsidiary *Financial analysis and recommendations *Financial reporting systems, procedures and tools *Meeting of statutory requirements * all other requirements related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Hons BCom Accounting degree or similar qualification with completed SAICA/SAIPA articles; • 3-5 years’ post article experience in a similar role; • Experience working for an international company, ideally FMCG or Retail; • Experience in the wine industry will be advantageous; • Excellent computer skills (Advanced Microsoft Excel) • Limited annual international travel may be required.
