The successful candidate will be responsible for quality management and food safety systems to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the production processes. Duties will include: *maintaining & improving quality management & food safety systems *being actively involved in audits & management of non-conformances *managing quality of production processes *assisting with investigation and solving of non-conformances and client complaints *quality assurance for product development, blending and bottling according to FSSC22000 guidelines *ensuring quality compliance of dry goods *overseeing hygiene and cleanliness of blending process, bottling lines and all other production processes according to standard *staff training on food safety and cleaning procedures *conducting of internal audits *Problem-solving regarding production quality and food safety issues *recordkeeping *All other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Tertiary qualification in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology; • Scientific/production background in a food/beverage/wine production environment; • Health and safety knowledge will be advantageous; • Own reliable transport.
