The successful candidate is a solution-driven team player with excellent communication (Afrikaans & English) skills, who can work accurately under pressure, while adhering to set deadlines. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and be responsible for the following: *manage the finance team *maintain proper accounting records *implement and manage financial systems and controls *manage the month-end procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments *statutory reporting and submissions (VAT, EMP) *statutory compliance reporting and submissions (CIPC, COIDA, BBBEE, EE) *manage the fixed assets register *banking and payments *payroll and HR administration *review monthly debtors, creditors and reconciliations *draft monthly management accounts *liaise with the external auditors and oversee the annual audit *annual budget process *ad hoc analysis and reporting *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification and completed articles (SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA); • Approximately 5 years’ post article experience; • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Sage Pastel Partner); • Valid license, and own reliable transport.
