PB Liquor Merchants has an exciting opportunity available for an individual with excellent persuasive communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix reporting structure to join their team based in KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting liquor products with customers, and support the supply and distribution of products to customers to grow the customer base and increase wine sales. Duties will include: *Market development *Plan sales calls, routes and servicing cycles to meet with customers and promote products *Customer relationship management *Monitor & analyse sales performance to identify performance trends and draw conclusions regarding results *Report on results of campaigns, incentive programmes and sales performance to suppliers, sales management and customers and provide recommendations for improvement *Monitor, evaluate, plan and control stock levels in the warehouse *Provide input to problem solving in the supply and distribution chain *all other duties related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric, a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantage; • Minimum 3 years’ experience in liquor sales in both the On and/or Off consumption market, including experience in stock planning and control; • Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits categories and consumption preferences; • Proven track record in meeting customer growth and product sales targets; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Drivers license and own reliable transport; • Must be able to work flexible working hours; • Willingness to travel and work overtime and some weekends (festivals, etc).
