The ideal candidate must have good organisational skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure. The applicant will be responsible for: *sourcing of prices/costs for materials *placing orders for materials and ensuring materials are delivered to respective construction sites timeously *sourcing prices/costs for tenders from sub-contractors *providing prices for all materials *identifying potential suppliers and new products *liaising closely with the tendering department *keeping detailed records and maintaining a well organised work schedule *all other administrative tasks associated with the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous; • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role; • Knowledge of the building industry advantageous; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
