The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and management skills to lead a large team, is extremely attentive to detail, and thrives in a high-pressure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: *tasting room management *staff management *organising and coordinating front of house and back of house operations efficiently *presenting wine tastings & promoting the company brand *ensuring excellent customer service *liaison with the public and all relevant stakeholders *coordinating & managing events *processing of online orders & wine sales *stocktaking *daily cash up *recordkeeping *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous (WSET/Cape Wine Academy); • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar position; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Own reliable transport; • Willingness to work hours as per industry requirements, including weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours.
