Our client, a wine estate based in the beautiful Franschhoek Wine Valley, has the abovementioned exciting opportunity available for a meticulous individual with strong administrative and organisational skills, as well as the ability to multitask. This position requires excellent logistical and communication skills to liaise with producers, shipping agents and overseas clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for duties related to offsite and onsite production, including: *logistics of bulk wines & export orders *liaison between contracted cellar and the client *SAWIS & office administration *coordination and scheduling of disgorgements and labelling *dry stock management *procurement of stock *stock planning between bottling and warehouse *all aspects regarding the handling of export documentation *recordkeeping, data capturing & processing *invoicing *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous; • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in a shipping, freight-forwarding or export logistics environment; • Knowledge of SAWIS and compliance regulations; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, specifically with Microsoft Excel); • Experience in workflow designs or creation of a logistics system or process would be advantageous; • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
