PB Liquor Merchants supplies wines to the liquor on-consumption market through its association with a major national distributor, and is seeking to appoint a competitive, results driven Key Accounts Manager that is strategically-inclined, with strong marketing and interpersonal skills, that takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. The position will be based at Bidfood Head Office in Linbro Park, Gauteng. Duties will include: *guiding the development, creative execution, launch and reporting of marketing campaigns and programs to promote liquor with existing on-consumption customers *market development *developing concepts for product offerings and promotional cycles *analysing & interpreting response/yield results to improve sales approaches *collaborate with internal stakeholders *focusing on Key Accounts with the distributor's Key Accounts team to secure national listings *guiding sales teams to ensure optimal consumer experiences *driving campaigns between the branches and LCM’s *organising and attending events and trade shows *supporting the supply and distribution of products to customers *stock planning and control *all other duties related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred; • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with exposure to Project Management, Marketing, Ecommerce, and managing online sales platforms or Direct Marketing; • Proven track record in meeting customer growth and product sales targets; • Passionate about wine & spirits marketing and growing business; • Driver’s license and own reliable transport; • Experience in the wine industry will be advantageous.
