The ideal candidate is a natural leader, with strong commercial and strategic acumen as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive and develop strategic partnerships. The role will report to the Executive Board and will be responsible for: *Setting & driving business vision, strategy and culture *Full responsibility for all hospitality activities on the estate; with strong alignment and integration with the wine, agricultural and property divisions *Financial management, optimising revenue and continuous improvement of profitability *Public and industry relationship management *Personnel management *Identify and develop opportunities to grow estate market share, visitors and revenue *Set and drive overall Blaauwklippen marketing strategy across digital channels, sponsorships, campaigns and activations *Build, promote and position the Blaauwklippen brand *all other tasks associated with the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification; • 5 years' experience in a similar senior role in the Hospitality & Agricultural industry; • Professional knowledge of corporate / business enterprises, governance and financial reporting; • Understanding of applicable legislation and corporate management; • Experienced in public appearances.
