Our client, a highly successful and long standing fruit export company has a position available for a Producer Liaison & Planning Manager. The ideal incumbent has strong planning and organisational skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders. Responsibilities will include: *Provide packing forecasts based on information from producers *Plan, develop and coordinate packing program *Analyse supply and demand and implement actions to manage excess stock *Manage and coordinate packing material based on packing program *Act as liaison between producers and marketing team *Integrate the packing guideline per season *Analysing and reporting data *Ongoing relationship management *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification; • Excellent knowledge regarding the table grape industry & varieties; • 5 - 8 Years' experience in a similar role; • Willingness to travel throughout the table grape regions across South Africa and Namibia; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
