The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *maintenance and repair of all vehicles, including bakkies, trucks, and construction machinery *preventative maintenance planning *assistance service, emergency repairs, maintenance of workplace discipline and compliance with occupational health and safety legislation *administrative tasks such as completing worksheets and timesheets *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Completed qualification/training as Diesel Mechanic; • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in a similar position in the construction industry; • Driver's license and own reliable transport.
