The main focus of the role will be the sales and trade of table grapes to the Middle- & Far East. The ability to create demand, coupled with excellent negotiation skills while remaining calm under pressure are qualities of the ideal candidate. Responsibilities will include: *Market research *Identify market needs *Market fruit internationally *Identify and exploit potential opportunities to grow the client base *Price negotiation *Stakeholder relationship management, including growers, clients, and relevant role players in the supply chain *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification; • Minimum 5 years' experience in the fruit industry as marketer/trader/buyer; • Willingness to travel locally and internationally; • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
