The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager and will be responsible for (but not limited to): *cost calculations and cost management *internal audit processes *accounting to financial statement level *inventory control *VAT and excise calculations *setting up internet banking payments *liaison with external auditors and other financial institutions *overhead audit function on debtors, creditors, income & expenses *monthly closing and reconciliations *assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports *all ad hoc financial functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • BCom Accounting or similar qualification with completed SAIPA/CIMA articles; • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position required, experience in the wine industry will be to the candidate's advantage.
