Philagro SA, a leading supplier of quality agricultural products, has the above opportunity available for an experienced Technical Product Manager who has a passion for the Citrus industry to join their technical team. The ability to build relationships based on trust and technical expertise are essential to the role. The successful candidate will report to the Technical Marketing Manager, and will primarily work across the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and occasional visits to the Northern Province. Duties will be focused on Plant Growth Regulators (and other crop protection products) and will include *technical support at grower & agent level *product training of distributing agents *sales of products relevant to Citrus industry *management of budgets *product stewardship *ongoing research & development *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant BSc qualification (MSc preferred); • 5 - 8 Years' experience in a similar role, focused on Citrus; • A background with plant physiology will be beneficial; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Willingness to travel.
