The Winemaker’s primary focus will be on the production of top quality bottled and bulk wine. The successful candidate will be responsible (but not limited to): *Full winemaking process in the cellar *Ensuring compliance with relevant quality/regulatory standards and ethical trade requirements (IPW/SAWIS/ISO 22000/WIETA) *General cellar administration *Perform general viticultural duties and liaise with the producers *Cellar hygiene and manage the health and safety requirements and system *Coordinate the maintenance of machinery and equipment *Cellar staff management. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant qualification in Viticulture and Oenology; • Minimum 5 years relevant experience; • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office/Wine MS); • Thorough knowledge of relevant quality systems and accreditations; • Valid driver’s license.
