Incanda Furniture, located in Paarl, currently has the above opportunity available for a Cabinet Maker. The ideal candidate is a driven team player with excellent communication skills, a meticulous approach to work, and the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Selecting appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task *Following blueprints to construct cabinet pieces *Creating standard and custom components of cabinets *Applying sealant, varnish, and paint to cabinets *Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately, and that the necessary finishes have been applied *Repairing elements of cabinets that have been sent in for servicing *Following all relevant safety guidelines *all other tasks associated with the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric and completion of a cabinet making apprenticeship or woodworking training; • At least two (2) years' experience as cabinet maker in solid wood furniture; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Willingness to work overtime when needed; • Own reliable transport.
