Bosman Adama (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Front of House Manager to oversee and manage a 50-seater tasting room and eatery, located on a family-owned farm. The Frame house at Bosman Hermanus is a wooden structure housing the wine tasting venue belonging to Bosman Family Vineyards in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Hermanus. The ideal candidate is a driven, presentable individual with a friendly demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills. A hands-on approach to the front of house management, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to effectively lead and manage a small dynamic team is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Managing and assisting with the front of house operations *Being actively on the floor, tending to guests’ needs and ensure the highest level of quality service *Personnel management *Administrative duties (cash up and reporting, managing bookings, stock control, open and closing procedures) *Maintaining cleaning schedules *All other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Matric required, formal hospitality qualifications will be advantageous; • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Own reliable transport; • Willingness to work hours as per industry requirements, including two weekends per month (Saturdays and Sundays).
