Administrative Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)

Our client, a mixed farming and packing operation located in the Stellenbosch area, currently has the above position available in their pack store. The ideal candidate is a driven, reliable, and confident individual with excellent, planning, organising, and interpersonal skills (English and Afrikaans).

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *reception duties (answering phone for orders) *making out delivery notes on Pastel *recordkeeping of sales information *keeping track of equipment quantities *handling of staff roll call *providing assistance with HR-related documents *ensuring drivers complete log books and assigning deliveries to drivers when necessary *all other tasks related to this position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, specifically Excel);
• Willingness to work alternate Saturday mornings;
• Own reliable transport.

Contract period: Sept/Oct 2022 - April 2023
