This position is ideal for an individual with excellent managerial and interpersonal skills looking to make a career shift to a well-established business.
The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for managing the total financial division which includes: *drafting budgets and management reports *internal audit processes *accounting to financial statement level *inventory control *overhead cost savings analyses *VAT and Excise calculations and payments *salary administration *treasury functions *liaison with audit and financial institutions *support with IT systems and all administrative functions (statutory and legal) of the business *handling of legal aspects *involved in management of insurance portfolio *liaison with the board and secretarial function *producer administration *training initiatives *BEE scorecard management *pricing and cost calculation review *all other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Qualification as CA(SA) or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar position required, experience in the wine industry will be to the candidate's advantage.
