The Logistics Administrator will report to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for all tasks relating to Logistics, Customer Service, Finance and administrative duties. Responsibilities will include: *Coordinating transportation providers, including liaison with freight forwarders to ensure effective movement of shipments *Reviewing shipping documentation to ensure accuracy *Picking inventory and book loading with the bottling company *Handling export and final clearing documentation *Making special shipping arrangements as necessary *Monitoring shipments, following up with carriers, tracking and fixing shipping errors *Improving supply chain processes where needed to increase efficiency *Liaison with clients and handling customer queries proactively *Crossdepartmental communication regarding pricing, production, marketing, sales, and accounting *Alignment of distribution and shipment budgets *Analysing shipment quotes from various suppliers *Processing of purchase orders & invoices *SAWIS submissions *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience • Diploma in Logistics and or Exports/Management Assistant related tertiary qualification; • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience within the wine industry; • Excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English); • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office); • Own reliable transport.
