Our client, a premium solar power and security systems provider, with offices in Cape Town (Paarl) and Middelburg, is currently recruiting for three (3) Solar Technicians to be based in Cape Town and Middelburg. These roles will take responsibility for the installations of solar panel projects, or sophisticated security control programmes. These roles are critical to the business success as a premium services and installations partner to its clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Daily monitoring of all systems via online portals *Manage cleaning team operations *Perform planned and unplanned maintenance tasks as per contractual SLA with client *Measure and create bills of quantities for installations budgets relating to remedial works required on sites under SLA *For onsite remedials, respond to system breakdowns within 24 hours for systems within RSA *For onsite remedials, respond to system breakdowns within 48 hours for systems outside RSA *For remote assistance remedials, respond to system breakdowns within 12 hours *Schedule all planned maintenance tasks 6 months in advance *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant qualification (Diploma/Certificate or Training) (CCTV, Solar Panel installations, Electrical Engineering or similar); • 2-5 years’ working experience in similar environment; • The ability to work some overtime as and when needed.
