Our client, a premium solar power and security systems provider, with offices in Cape Town (Paarl) and Middelburg, is currently recruiting for the exciting role of Project Manager (2 x Paarl/Cape Town and 2 x Middelburg). This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager that could act as the Team Lead to the installations and operations team. This position requires a hands-on approach from a leader who can manage a small team, plan, execute and deliver on the goals set for the solar/security installations projects of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Scheduling, reporting and drafting scope of works for new projects *Project development and management from start to end *Contracts management *Logistics management/planning *Equipment ordering *Quality control *Assess and accept engineering designs *Health and Safety responsibilities *Project commissioning leader *Liaising with client, Site Managers, stakeholders and general relationship management *Technician Team Management (allocated to your project) *Ensure all ISO9001 and ISO45001 compliances are adhered to during construction phases *Feedback on projects to the Engineering Department ensuring continual improvement *Complete handover of project and its systems to O&M department *All other managerial and admin functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction/Project Manager/Solar Energy/Engineering) will be beneficial but not a minimum requirement; • Relevant experience in project and team management; • Excellent computer proficiency; • Excellent leadership skills.
