Our client, a premium solar power and security systems provider, with offices in Cape Town (Paarl) and Middelburg, is currently recruiting for the exciting role of a Finance Manager based at their Paarl office. Reporting to the CEO, this role as Financial Manager, will have full responsibility for the Accounting function of the business. This position requires a meticulous approach from a leader who can deliver accurate activity reports with monthly accounting whilst understanding and managing the mid- and long-term financial indicators (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, cash-flows, capex, staffing costs etc.). The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Ensure Financialand Regulatory Compliance (SARS, Department of Labour, Insurance etc.) *Develop financial reporting systems *Develop and maintain strategies to reduce or maintain costs *Support management in financial decisions *Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information *Monthly reporting to management and stakeholders and providing advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted *Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets *Implementation of risk mitigating procedures and policies *Supervising and assisting finance team *Actively support the strategic intent, a part in the core Management team *All other managerial and admin functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification (BCom, Diploma or similar in Financial- or Management Accounting); • Relevant experience in finance and accounts management; • Excellent computer proficiency (not negotiable); • Attention to detail with the ability to recognize the larger perspective of business.
