Our client, a well-established Landscaper based in Simondium, Paarl, is looking to appoint a Project Manager. Our client’s core focus is the design and landscaping of large private gardens, public open spaces and residential and commercial developments, with the emphasis on the design and implementation of landscapes that resonate within their respective contexts. The ideal candidate is a driven, hands-on individual with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English) and thrives in a fast-paced environment. In addition, strong attention to detail and a passion for landscaping and design is crucial. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *team management, including oversight of team & other contractors *run projects from job layout to completion (according to plan and within budget) *planning and scheduling of work within industry standards *liaison with internal & external stakeholders *recordkeeping & providing of updates on progress to management *coordination with other contractors *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification in Horticulture/Landscaping; • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in landscaping and working on projects; • Working knowledge of horticulture, irrigation and installation; • Excellent planning, organising, and problem-solving skills; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Valid driver’s license.
