The successful candidate will report to the National Sales Manager and will be responsible for: *Maintaining excellent supplier relationships *Maintenance of commercial contracts with suppliers *Developing and maintaining a commercially sustainable procurement strategy *Ensuring that the procurement function and related logistical operations regarding production runs effectively *Product, prices, and price list administration *Managing inventory planning processes to accurately support demand forecasts *Developing and maintaining procurement management systems, processes, and procedures *Providing input in the preparation of the departmental budget and ensure that procurement projects are completed within the budget *All other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Logistics or similar; • 3-5 years' experience in a similar position in a warehouse environment (ideally multi-warehouse environment); • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, specifically MS Excel); • Valid driver’s license and own transport.
