The ideal candidate has excellent administrative and organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and an understanding of marketing principles. Duties will include (but not be limited to): *liaison with internal & external stakeholders *develop, implement and manage social media strategy in collaboration with stakeholders *creating social media content & newsletters *copywriting in collaboration with other stakeholders *provide marketing & promotional support (brochures, videos, tasting sheets, social media posts etc.) for tasting room *management, communication and controlling of marketing material and POS items in warehouses nationally *management of online sales *stock control of all warehouses *overseeing & managing tasting room & conduct wine tastings *filing & recordkeeping *processing of invoices *general office administration *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing; • Approximately 2-3 years' experience in a similar position, experience in the wine industry will be to the candidate’s advantage; • Strong website/social media skills; • Excellent verbal & written communication skills (in Afrikaans & English); • Above average computer skills (MS Office); • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport; • Willingness to work on weekends or after hours as required (tasting room, attending events).
