Southern Fruit Growers, based in Somerset-West, currently has the above position for an analytical and detail-oriented team player with excellent accounting knowledge and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *handling of petty cash *checking freight invoices with schedules of shipping companies *creditors reconciliations *send GoReefers invoices on Pastel *valuta bank reconciliations on a monthly basis *debtors (invoices for forwarders together with documents, and invoices for clients) *packing lists *on consignment: following up on outstanding prices and do final invoices from account sales *keeping up payment files *post payments on payment file *miscellaneous invoices as requested *issuing credit notes *filing of documents at end of season *all ad hoc financial functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • BCom Accounting degree or similar qualification with SAIPA articles in progress or completed SAIPA articles; • Excellent computer skills (specifically Microsoft Excel and Pastel). • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Own reliable transport.
