Our client, M A N Family Wines based in the scenic Stellenbosch area, is looking for a dynamic Group Financial Manager to lead and manage their finance team and provide outstanding reports, direction and decision-making tools to the Board. The incumbent will report directly to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for (but not be limited to): *Overseeing all financial and administrative functions of the group *Managing the finance & admin teams *Production of all financial statements and preparations for annual audit *Calculation, preparation and submission of Income Tax, VAT, Customs & Excise; and all other statutory returns and dealing with all SARS related tax queries *Preparation and production of internal monthly departmental management reports & HOD liaison *Financial analysis fueling strategic decision making *Preparation of a comprehensive annual budgeting and management of CAPEX processes *Management of suppliers, debtors, and insurance-related tasks *Assist in inventory control and updating the fixed asset register with the relevant HOD’s *Salary and wages administration *Bank liaison: electronic transfers; forex payments and bank accounts management *General assistance with office management *All other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Registered CA (SA)/PA(SA) or CGMA (CIMA); • 6 - 10 years’ post article experience; • Experience in the wine sector will be advantageous; • Knowledge of Palladium accounting software will be advantageous; • Eagerness to excel in cost management and analysis is essential.
