Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, situated in the scenic Paarl area, has a position available for a proactive Restaurant Manager with excellent leadership, problem- olving, and interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Duties will include (but not limited to): *staff management (hiring and training staff, organizing and supervising shifts, performance management, disciplinary processes, etc) *coordinate daily front of house and back of house restaurant operations *deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction *respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints *maintain a safe work environment by ensuring high standards of repair, hygiene, and safety and managing inventory *cash-ups to be completed at the end of each day *all other general and administrative tasks relevant to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric required, tertiary qualification in Hospitality or similar field preferred; • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position within the hospitality sector; • Strong knowledge of the food and wine industry and materials control; • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Dineplan and Novtel); • Excellent verbal and written communications; • Own reliable transport.
