The role’s primary outcomes include the coordination of wine bottling and bulk export activities according to sales schedules and customer deadlines, both locally and internationally. Responsibilities include (but is not limited to): *coordinating logistics of bottle and bulk wine shipments–local and export *preparing all transport/SAWIS/Export documentation *coordinating of bottlings and labelling *stock control of bottling and packaging dry materials *quality control on products to ensure highest quality levels are maintained *calculate monthly bottling requirements based on sales forecasts and sales activities *team management *procurement of dry materials required for bottling and packaging *reconciling Palladium stock with stock on hand *all ad hoc financial functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A related post matric qualification is recommended (preferably within the Financial, Operations or Logistics disciplines); • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a supply chain, distribution and exports coordinating role; • Knowledge of SAWIS and compliance regulations; • Knowledge of basic financial controls and systems; • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Palladium); • Experience in workflow designs or creation of a logistics system or process would be advantageous.
