The ideal applicant is a team player with excellent leadership and communication skills (Afrikaans and English), and has the ability to function well under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *management of the restaurant and all related aspects *staff management *ensuring that quality standards of the restaurant are maintained *customer relations management *arrangement of functions and related events *stock control *hosting guests *all ad hoc administrative tasks. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Senior Certificate required, a tertiary qualification in Hospitality or a Business-related field will be to the candidate’s advantage; • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position, including in a management capacity; • Thorough computer literacy (MS Office); • Driver’s license and own reliable transport; • Willingness to work hours as per hospitality industry requirements; • A third language would be to the candidate’s advantage.
