Asara Wine Estate & Hotel situated in scenic Stellenbosch Winelands has the above position available. Our ideal candidate is experienced in 5 star hotel management, wellpresented, well-spoken and very detail-orientated. He/She is able to work in a structured and organised way and with a hands-on approach in a calm, focused manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not be limited to): *manage the hotel main operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operational running of the hotel *ensuring that each department operates & delivers a consistently high standard *ensure consistent review & implementation of SOPs throughout all department *manage and report on income and expenses according to budget *promote a culture of excellence in guest care *manage inhouse communication between departments in a structured way and through regular team meetings *carry out inspections with regards to guest service delivery, effectiveness of procedures, cleanliness, health & safety, employee presentation & grooming *carry out duty management shifts as required *liaise with external stakeholders *create and maintain excellent guest relationships. Essential qualifications, skills and experience • Diploma in Hospitality; • Experience in FOH & BOH & F&B departments and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Management position within the luxury hospitality industry; • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written); • Excellent command of English, additional international foreign language advantageous; • Leadership skills; • Experience in hotel software (Protel/EasiPos) and Microsoft Office; • Detail-orientated & accurate; • Ability to multitask, prioritize and be calm under pressure.
