Our client, a family situated in the Somerset West area, is seeking a reliable, punctual, well-presented candidate with a passion for child-care to take care of their infant (1 month old) and toddler (2 years old). Kindness, patience, an energetic disposition and understanding with children are further requirements for the role. The ideal candidate is organised and routine orientated, has a strong sense of responsibility for the safety and well-being of children, and is creative in planning and carrying out early childhood development activities. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Minimum 3 years' infant and childcare work experience required; • Formal infant and childcare training and certification (including CPR training) at an accredited institution will be advantageous; • Comfortable to accept and follow parents’ instructions given for their children; • Comfortable working in an environment where the parents work from home; • Must have at least 3 contactable childcare work-related references; • Own reliable transport and a clear criminal record. Working hours: Mondays to Fridays 07:30 – 17:30 (negotiable) and Saturdays (when required). Commencement date: As soon as possible.
