Ultrasigns, a medium-sized signage designer and manufacturer with their factory and offices located in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, has the above exciting opportunity available for a driven, extremely organised, detail-orientated team-player with excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate has the ability to function well under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced work environment. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for the full production and factory operations including, amongst others, the planning, coordinating and management of: *factory staff *raw materials and ordering of resources *production schedule *jobs, production departments and installation works *vehicles and equipment *factory personnel and installation teams *ensuring adherence to quality standards and control of all finished products *liaise with various departments and team leaders *implement performance goals and standards *identify staff training needs *health and safety *all other duties related to the role. Essential minimum qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Building, or Project Management; • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production and factory management role in the manufacturing industry/factory environment; • Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (verbal & written); • Excellent computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel; • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport; • Must be willing to work overtime when required.
