Our client, Bosman Adama (Pty) Ltd is looking for a service-orientated Tasting Experience Manager to manage their exclusive Wine Tasting Facility in upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Hermanus. The ideal candidate has excellent leadership, interpersonal, and relevant financial management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for: *managing the entire tasting room facility *delivering superior guest services *monitoring operations and initiate corrective actions *development of a direct market in Hermanus and surrounds *planning and developing guest loyalty programs *planning & updating of new and existing menus *managing and developing the overall tasting room marketing strategy *staff management *planning and organising consumption, forecast requirements, and inventory stock levels *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric, a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantage; • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role or as Restaurant Manager, including experience in event planning; • Extensive food and wine knowledge; • Excellent computer skills (MS Office and restaurant management software); • Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans); • Driver's license and own reliable transport.
