Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons, an iconic brand in the global wine industry based in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley, is seeking to recruit a Hospitality Manager to join their dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal, organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will report directly to the Global Sales and Marketing Manager and be responsible for (but not limited to): *hiring of qualified personnel according to company standards *organize and coordinate operations to ensure maximum efficiency *supervise and evaluate staff *ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality *handling of customer complaints *assist in pricing of products *assume responsibility of budgeting and monitoring expenses *ensure adherence to regulations and quality standards *recordkeeping *review and prepare reports for senior management *assist in marketing the facility *guest relations *all other duties related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or similar; • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the wine industry. including a solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices; • Local and international wine knowledge will be to the candidate's advantage; • Excellent computer literacy [MS Office, point of sales systems (Pilot advantageous)]; • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
