Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, situated in the scenic Paarl area, has the above position available for a detailed, organised, and analytical individual with excellent interpersonal skills that thrives in a high-pressure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following: *purchasing restaurant supplies/raw materials *input of inventory items onto Pastel *recording of food and beverage costs *maintaining inventory and stock management systems accurately *managing stock levels *managing stock returns/credits *maintaining good relationships with suppliers *implementing and managing correct buying protocols *weekly and monthly stock taking *maintaining a neat and orderly storeroom *creating Bill of Material (menu) for each new menu item for sign off *managing Pastel and Novtel POS system integration *verifying accuracy of weekly sales on POS system and reporting thereof *and all other general and administrative tasks relevant to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Tertiary qualification in Food & Beverage or Stock Controlling; • Minimum two years' experience in a similar position in the hospitality/food & beverage industry; • Strong computer skills (MS Office, experience in Pastel/Novtel will be to the candidate's advantage); • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Own reliable transport.
