Southern Fruit Growers currently has the above position available in Patensie (Eastern Cape) for a dynamic, analytical and detail-oriented individual with a mindset of continual evaluation and improvement. The ideal candidate has excellent administrative and communication skills, works in a collaborative manner, and thrives in a high pressure environment. Key performance areas will include the following: *Pack house quality control, capturing of QC reports and related reporting and feedback *Assist pack houses with implementation & maintenance of relevant audit programs & verifications *Assist with coordination of export programs and packing material *Receive, analyse, capture and summarise QC arrival reports *Assist with export clients due diligence requirements *Ensure compliance with SA export standards and engaging with the relevant authorities (DALRRD & PPECB) *Handling producer communication and feedback *Taking of residue samples and loading it onto company website *Assist producers to manage packaging requirements and stock *All other tasks related to the role. Minimum requirements: • Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture; • Minimum 3 years' in a similar role in the fruit industry; • Knowledge and experience in relevant quality control systems; • Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
