Origin Wine, an established wine company situated in the Stellenbosch area, has the above opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a commercial attitude, good work ethic, leadership and communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment. A relevant qualification, 6 to 10 years’ experience in a similar environment, as well as a sound knowledge of the production/planning and winemaking processes, are prerequisites. The successful applicant will report to the Wine Manager and will be responsible for: • wines and blends within required specifications and target dates • services to 3rd party clients • managing systems and structures in cooperation with the schedule planner • compliance with QMS standards protocol and procedures • people management • adhering to company and Health & Safety statutory requirements • ensuring that all administration regarding the wine process and movement is kept (SAWIS & SAGE) • daily chemical stock take and orders • checking and authorising monthly invoices • utilisation of resources for the cellar processes.
