Our client, an estate situated in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley and an exclusive destination for weddings, events, luxury accommodation and premium picnic experiences, has the above position available for a friendly, presentable, hardworking, and reliable individual.
The incumbent will report to the General Manager and be responsible for: *all housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning accommodation suites, venue halls) and ensuring that quality protocol in accommodation suites and venues are adhered to *meeting and greeting guests and representing the estate accordingly *assisting with duties related to events and catering *all other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Approximately 2 years' experience in a similar position in a 4-star or 5-star environment;
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English, including basic reading and writing;
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required;
• Housekeeping training and a valid driver’s license will be to the candidate’s advantage.
