SALES REPRESENTATIVE Riebeek Cellars (Pty.) Ltd., situated in the picturesque Riebeek Valley, currently has the above job opportunity available for marketing their products in the Boland and Overberg areas. The ideal candidate must be bilingual, computer literate and an excellent negotiator, and must be able to achieve results without direct supervision in a highly competitive environment. Proven experience in the sale of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is a further prerequisite. The successful candidate will be part of the national sales team and the core tasks and responsibilities include the following: • management of existing customers, taking orders and recruiting new customers through an organized daily schedule• keeping record of management information such as daily visit reports, weekly schedules and monthly / yearly analysis of the market place • monitoring of competitors and the collection of information regarding prices, products etc. • handling of consumer complaints and proposing solutions and recommendations to the marketing manager • development of product knowledge by attending marketing meetings and other training opportunities • contribution to the strong team spirit by sharing knowledge and experience with the rest of the sales team.
