Farm Manager This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a good communicator with outstanding personnel, planning and managerial skills. An appropriate tertiary qualification in agriculture and a minimum of 3-5 years practical experience in a similar managerial position are pre requisites. The candidate must be fluent in English and good wine knowledge will count in the applicants favour. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the winemaker and the rest of the viticultural team and will report directly to the managing director. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management function and responsibilities includes: *vineyard planting * fertilizing * disease and pest control *pruning programs * grape preparation * weed control *personnel management * general administration * budget management *maintenance management and all other tasks related to the position.
