Stellenbosch - Farm Manager position available at a small boutique wine, olive and horse farm situated between Stellenbosch and Somerset in Lynedoch. A two-bedroom cottage is available on the farm as live-in accommodation to the successful candidate. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, is self-motivated, can handle pressure and shows initiative to enhance and help grow and manage the farming activities. The potential candidate will also be required look after the manor house with four dogs and marine fish when the owners are away. Knowledge and experience of the following is essential: Vineyard and boutique wine cellar management; Olive grove management and olive production (oils and table olives); Management of livestock, horses, cows, springbok, goats and chickens; Staff/Farm worker management; Farm and Garden irrigation, planning, installation and maintenance; Basic maintenance of farm implements, tractors, sprayers, disks, pumps etc. Knowledge and experience of the following will be advantageous: Tunnel farming experience and sales experience in olives and wine. Remuneration package: R250k- R300k per annum (Accommodation is included in the remuneration package).
