Sirius Engineering is looking for a dynamic individual to work in an ever-changing environment. The nature of the work often entails moving in a direction that was not planned for at the beginning of the process and requires flexibility. The individual should be self-driven and self-motivated. The individual will be responsible for assisting in projects focused on improving client processes (Continuous Improvement Projects) but will also interact with the project engineering department of the company. Duties and Responsibilities: - Data gathering and interpretation - Process modelling - As-Built layout drafting - To-Be layout drafting - Root cause analysis of complex business processes - Compile feedback reports - Assist in solution design, costing, and implementation Minimum Requirements: - Degree in Industrial Engineering - Proficient in Afrikaans and English verbal and written communication - Proficient in all Microsoft Office Packages (especially Excel and Word) - Proficient in a CAD Package – preferably AutoCad - Good understanding of statistics *The initial appointment will be for a 12-month contract period.
