Our client, a well-established and dynamic assurance and accounting firm situated in Durbanville, currently has the abovementioned position available for a driven, detailed individual with strong interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English), that can work accurately under pressure.

The ideal candidate has immaculate administrative- and time management skills, the ability to prioritise, and enjoys multi-tasking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Planning, scheduling, finalising and reviewing projects *Ensuring projects are up to standard and according to review requirements *Providing company secretarial training to Trainee Accountants *Staying up to date with industry trends and applicable legislation *Maintaining statutory records for Companies, Close Corporations and Trusts *Finalising documentation and registration of statutory amendments relating to Companies, Close Corporations and Trusts *Registration and deregistration of Companies and Closed Corporations *Establishing and dissolution of Trusts *Handling annual fees for companies (sending out accounts, collecting money, etc.) *Record keeping of minutes and other relevant documentation *Ensuring certification of necessary documentation *Opening new files and acquiring FICA documentation for clients *Correspondence with CIPC and clients *All ad hoc tasks related to the role.

Essential skills, qualifications, and experience:
• Company Secretarial Diploma or similar qualification (LLB would be advantageous);
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant Company Secretarial experience;
• Sound understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance requirements;
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, ProfSec);
• Own reliable transport.
