Our client is a well-established almond processing company in the Western Cape and provides top quality almonds to local and international tree nut markets.

This exciting role is ideal for an ambitious and dynamic candidate who can translate strategic goals into day-to-day operational action plans, over time contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business. The successful candidate will need to have a natural ability to learn from, and build on, the existing successful business core.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for the general business management, productivity, profitability and implementation of short-, medium- and long-term goals. The role will include the key performance areas: *Overall operations & production management *Driver of strategic intent *Financial management & budgeting *Sales & marketing management *Stakeholder management with producers and clients *Human Resource Management.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Bachelors in Commerce or Business-related tertiary qualification;
• At least 5 years' management experience, including experience and exposure to business finance;
• Knowledge of a production or factory environment, sales and marketing;
• Excellent interpersonal- and communication skills (Afrikaans & English).

A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, together with long term incentives based on KPI achievements.
